AquFlow Acid-Bot – Automated pH Balancing Injection System

ACID BOT Brochure 1

Water quality is essential no matter where it is used. When used for human consumption every aspect of it is monitored and controlled carefully. pH balance is a critical measure of the water quality. Especially when it is used in agriculture as it affects the productivity and nutrients of the soil.

Soil itself often requires pH balancing which is achieved by adding measured quantities of acid. Acid-Bot by AquFlow is a fully automated system which measures the pH and controls it by adding chemical within the desired range. It does all this with minimal human effort once it is set up.

Principle of Operation

Acid-Bot will adjust the flow rate of the acid pump based on the pH feedback value fro the pH probe. If the pH level is 7 pH or below, then the pump will be turned off, if the pH level is greater than 7 pH, then it will adjust the flow rate according to the pH value to ensure accurate and smooth balancing of the pH.

Control Unit

  1. Unique design to adapt any size and model motor driven pump.
  2. Easy to configure and calibrate.
  3. Durable design with NEMA 3R enclosure built in UL standards. NEMA 4 optional.
  4. Compatible with many pH probes.
  5. User-friendly HMI screen.
  6. Adjust injection rate to maintain preset pH value.
  7. Can be expanded to adapt flow meters and temperature sensor.

Acid Pumps

  1. Control Unit.
  2. Acid pump suitable for the application with proper flow rate and liquid end material to handle acids.
  3. Plumbing for the inlet and outlet of the acid pump.
  4. Calibration column to calibrate the pump.
  5. Y-strainer, to ensure no particles are entering the line and clogging the inlet.
